1 5/8" Anodized zinc coating - gold color CONNECTORS FOR DOME SHELTER

TARP SIZE is determined by the length of pipe used in the arc. If using all 5' lengths as in this drawing, 6 times 5' uses a 30' wide tarp. If you are only covering the top 4 sections, a 20' wide tarp would do. The most durable tarp we carry is the Silver Sunblocker tarp. It is the best tarp for shade as well since it blocks 100% of light from coming through. The Heavy Duty White tarp won't last as long but will let light through if that is what you need.

For 1" connectors conduit may be purchased at most electrical supply or hardware stores. Conduit comes in 10' lengths and may be cut with a hacksaw. Check around for the best price.... We don't carry the conduit due to the cost of shipping to you!

For 1 5/8" connectors, use chain link fence rail with 1 5/8" outer diameter. You also purchase this pipe locally.

ALL SHELTERS NEED ANCHORING ON EACH LEG! There are several different methods of anchoring! Optional Footpad anchors may be used. Footpad anchors are used to bolt to a solid surface such as decking or concrete. Also see F.A.Q. on optional method of anchoring

To determine the number of BUNGEES you will need using our tarps with appx. 18" grommet spacing. Example, for a 10 x 10 tarp you would add all 4 sides (10 + 10 + 10 + 10 = 40 x's 12 divided by 18 = 27 bungees.

Warning: These building connectors are component parts for use in assembling portable or limited use structures only. Severe physical injury or death may result from the collapse of a structure which fails to use the proper component parts, is not properly anchored, or which lacks proper foundation support and structural integrity to withstand wind, rain, other weather related factors, and stress from the particular use. DTP, Ink, shelters-to-go.com or any of it's parties will not be held responsible for injury, death or other losses related to the use of these components.

To put this in terms that are understandable by all: It means use the correct weight poles (not aluminum or pvc), use the correct number of connectors (don't skimp), structures are designed for use with tarps (don't nail wood to them or cover with unapproved materials!), make sure they are anchored properly (one anchor per leg of approved type for the installation). And last but not least.... these structures won't withstand hurricanes, tornados, heavy snow loads or any other act of nature, man or animal that would trash a portable metal storage building but they are a lot easier to put up and more versatile for size, shape and use!
